About this event
The Hope Academy of Senior Professionals (HASP) has extended an invitation to Holland Area League members to attend a special program, “The Fix for a Fractured Congress: What History Teaches & What We Can Do”, on Monday, June 2 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Jack Miller Center for Musical Arts.
Why is there so much division in Congress today? Has our nation ever been in this situation before? How can we fix it? Join former Congressman Fred Upton and Hope history professor Dr. Fred Johnson in a moderated conversation about the increasing polarization in the U.S. House of Representatives, the challenges in passing meaningful legislation, and potential ways to reverse this trend.
No registration is required. Thank you to HASP for this special invitation to LWVHA members!
